Slaughterhouse Dybbøl

We tell the story of the war of 1864, so you get a great benefit, no matter how much you know about the war in advance.

We make history present with visits to our redoubt – the battlefield – and the reconstructed soldiers’ town. We talk about the conditions of the soldiers and the military tactics during the war, and we demonstrate the equipment of the soldiers.

Finally, we show the film Stormdagen (Assault Day) dealing with the final battle on 18 April 1864.
