The Dybbøl Mill
The Dybbøl Mill was the center of violent fighting in both 1848-49 and 1864. During both the Schleswig wars the mill was destroyed but rebuilt.
Dybbøl Mølle appears as the Danish-national symbol in the border region. Dybbøl Mølle and particularly the name Dybbøl became the epitome of Danish resistance and stamina.
