The Dybbøl Mill

The Dybbøl Mill was the center of violent fighting in both 1848-49 and 1864. During both the Schleswig wars the mill was destroyed but rebuilt.

Dybbøl Mølle appears as the Danish-national symbol in the border region. Dybbøl Mølle and particularly the name Dybbøl became the epitome of Danish resistance and stamina.

Exhibitions

In the old buildings of the mill you will find the following four exhibitions:

  • The history of Dybbøl Mill. 1. Floor.
  • Dybbøl as a Danish and German national symbol from 1864 until today. 1. Floor
