Dybbøl Banke is Denmark’s famous battlefield from 1864, when the defeat reduced Denmark to an insignificant European small state. Today, Dybbøl Banke is a historic area with the iconic Dybbøl Mill, a magnificent landscape and the History Center Dybbøl Banke, which tells about the fateful war in 1864 between Denmark and the German states of Prussia and Austria.
