Our doors open every Saturday and Sunday in winter to tell you about the war of 1864. Our enthusiastic storytellers offer an experience for all senses.

You can feel the bitter cold on your nose while you are holding a soldier’s rifle, and a journey through time brings us into the year 1864, back on the old battlefield between ordinary men.

This time of the year, you get the full package – it is the most natural and obvious time to visit of the History Centre Dybbøl Banke.

Opening hours: There is one conducted tour per day.

Saturday from 14.00 to 16.00. Doors will be open from 13:40 to 14.00. Doors stay closed after 14.00, so make sure you arrive in time.

Sunday from 11.00 to 13.00. Doors will be open from 10:40 to 11.00. Doors stay closed after 11.00, so make sure you arrive in time.

Practical information:
Remember: Warm clothing as well as good winter boots. The History Centre is a cold building, and a part of the story takes place outside.
