On the 18th of April Denmark and Prussia fought a decisive battle at Dybbøl. Today this is the biggest day of the year at the history center, where we have a special programme with activities the entire day. We storm the redoubt, fire both cannon and rifles and have guided tours throughout the day. We have two guided tours for foreign guests in either English or German, the rest of the scheduled activities are in Danish.
The day begins with a traditional military ceremony at 10.00 at the gravesite on Dybbøl Banke. Everyone is welcome to participate.
