Battlefield tour
Hear the story on the places where it happened.
From the History Centre Dybbøl Banke, we move into the landscape where the action took place in 1864. On a walk along the right wing of the redoubt, you get insight into the thoughts behind the Danish fortifications – and you hear about the attackers’ experiences on the battlefield. You will hear the stories at the places where things happened as we visit redoubts 7 and 8 as well as Kongeskansen (The King’s Redoubt).
The route is approx. 2 km in terrain with paths and stairs.
NOTE: The walk requires sensible footwear and is NOT suitable for disabled people.
