A barack for the private soldiers. There is room for 30-40 men.

Post & Telegraph Office

Here you can try to use the telegraphe or perhaps write a letter with pen and ink. In the holidays you can change to "skilling".

Well

In one of the redoubt there was a Well like this. You can try but don't drink the water.

Smithy

The blachsmith is very important. He can fix many things like new horseshoes. The Danish army had more than 10.000 horses.

Canteen

It's shop where the soldiers can buy the things which the army don't supply.

Here in the field kitchen the soldiers could cook there rations.

Here the gunpowder and shells were stored behind the thick walls made of concrete.

The Redoubt

The redoubt is a reconstruction of nearly half of a Danish redoubt. Ther were 10 redoubts here at Dybbøl.

Storm the Redoubt!

Her you can try to enter the redoubt like the Prussians in 1864.

Fortification Cannon, high

It is a 84-pounder using round shells filled with black powder.

Drill Ground

Her we sometimes make military foot drill with the guests as in 1864.

Blockhouse

It is the shelter for the crew in the redoubt.

Cannon Crane

The Cannon Crane is used to switch the cannon barrels.

Roller Bridge

This is the only way in and out of the redoubt. Therefore you can draw the bridge into the redoubt and make it difficult for the enemy to enter.

Vantage Point

From here see part of the battlefield among others the remnants of Redoubt 4 and 8. You can also see a later build Prussian Fort, today called Kongeskansen.
